School: St. George’s School Munich

Honours in Science

In 2015, Adithya moved from his native India to join us at St. George's in Munich as a Year 4 student. From the very beginning, his interest in Physics and Mathematics was clear, and he often envisioned becoming a professor one day.

Fast forward to Summer 2023, and Adithya received an incredible surprise with his IGCSE results. Despite his hard work and high expectations of scoring A's or A*'s, he was thrilled to achieve the highest grades in Chemistry and Physics in Germany!

The teachers prepared us very well with lots of guidance in Year 10 and Year 11 about how to properly revise and manage stress. We could always come to school during our study leave to talk to teachers and past students.

Beyond his academic pursuits, Adithya is an avid guitarist. He dedicates significant time and effort to mastering his instrument, progressing from classical pieces to modern tunes. Adithya draws inspiration from the renowned mathematician Paul Erdős.

I am really inspired by Paul Erdős, who published lots of papers. He is known for being a little weird as he did not have a proper house but lived out of a suitcase. Like him, I hope to achieve something special and bring something to the table that is not ordinary.

We are very proud of Adithya's achievements and can't wait to see what the future holds for him!
