Sudyut
Year 12 student
School: St. George’s School Munich Extraordinary achievement Sudyut moved to Europe from India in 2014, the year he joined St. George’s. Since discovering this side of the planet, he has embraced the exceptional quality of European life, but admits he could not resist MIT in Boston if given the chance. An intriguing personality, Sudyut has a diverse array of interests, ranging from design and English literature to storytelling and programming. He likes to combine different topics and mix them in new ways.
His channel showcases his ability to merge different subjects and express his unique viewpoints creatively. In his IGCSEs, Sudyut achieved the highest grades in Germany for English Literature and earned the worldwide top achievement in Design & Technology (DT). He admits that his success in English Literature was a pleasant surprise, even though he noticed significant improvement in his writing from Year 10 to Year 11. |

His DT accomplishment, however, was less surprising to those familiar with his work, especially after seeing the innovative chair he designed. This project, which had been on his mind for a long time, was intended to surprise his grandfather. The chair is engineered to follow the user’s movements and provide comfort, featuring springs with leather that extend when you sit and a reclining back that adjusts based on height.
